Die Sinking Electric Discharge Machines (EDM)

An Ram EDM machine, or die sinker EDM is often used in tool and mould making to produce casting moulds, dies or bending punches. The tool (cathode) and workpiece (anode) are placed under tension in a dielectric bath. During sparkover, small metal particles burst off at the point of impact, resulting in a higher removal rate. We offer several Ram EDM die sinker machines with NC-controlled Z-axis and power outputs from 40 to 100 A. Finely tuneable parameters enable both the highest removal rate and finishing in a single operation.
