5-C Collets

Gripping collets per DIN 6341 with unit number type 385E are also designated as 5C collets. This type of collet is often used for gripping workpieces on cutting machine tools. For lathes there are special lathe chucks that grip mechanically or pneumatically. For machining with milling machines, there are vises that are mounted on the milling table. The collets cover a chucking range of about 2-25 mm. With stop screws incorporated, the equipment can also be used for small series production.
